Teddy comes from a full international background origination in the UK, USA and New Zealand

Teddy’s mom Safron was a working dog in the field for five years in the rugged terrain of New Zealand. Under the guidance of shooting gold medallist Teresa Borrell and the renowned Stormbay Kennel, Safron excelled in the field. “She was one of my best”- Teresa Borrell

Teddy’s dad has all the attributes of a hunter. His reach and drive are tremendous coupled with the high energy drive needed to retrieve all day. He easily obtained his Champion title.

Teddy demonstrates all the drive and intelligence of his mom and dad. He has a kind disposition and loves children and to play. You only need to show Teddy one time how to do something and it’s learned.

What a tremendous kind and gentle dog with all the attributes of a hunter. Teddy does well in the field or in the house.

In his short show career Teddy has won Best of Breed twice.

At his first show the judge reached over and rubbed his head and said “he looks just like a teddy bear” since then he has been known as Teddy.
